Alo Nominated for Two ESPYs

Oklahoma City, OK --- Jocelyn Alo has been nominated for two ESPY awards for the 2022 ESPYS presented by Capital One.

 

Smash It Sports Vipers rookie and former University of Oklahoma softball superstar has a chance to continue her winning tradition in two different categories: Best Record-Breaking Performance and Best College Athlete, Women’s Sports.

 

Alo’s record-setting 96th home run came in grand fashion while playing in her home state of Hawaii during the 2022 NCAA season. The two-time USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year went on to win her second National Championship with the Sooners and capped off an incredible college career in style.

 

Jocelyn Alo’s name ranks high amongst the best in sport, including her fellow nominees: Golden State Warrior’s Stephen Curry, track star Allyson Felix, legendary quarterback Tom Brady, South Carolina basketball’s Aliyah Boston and many more.

 

The 2022 ESPYS will be live on Wednesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. CT in Los Angeles.
